Fiona is an accredited counsellor with the BACP and social worker registered with Social Work England.
She has over 30 years’ experience of supporting members of the adoption triangle, children Looked After and those with Special Guardianship orders.
She currently works part time at the Post Adoption Centre in London (PAC-UK) and in private practice. Fiona uses an attachment perspective to help adopters and Special Guardians make sense of their own feelings and behaviour and to enhance their ability to be therapeutic parents / carers.
She is qualified to administer the Attachment Style Interview and provides second opinion / emotional capacity assessments to Adoption Agencies.
Fiona also trains social workers in the RAAs and voluntary sector to assess the emotional capacity of prospective adopters, SGs and foster carers.
