Philippa has been working for The Koru Project for 2 years. She offers a warm, caring, fun and safe space for the children and young people she works with.
Philippa is an accredited Integrative/ Creative Arts Therapist and has been working with children, young people and families for over 35 years. The last 10 years as a therapist.
Philippa is particularly interested in working creativity using the Arts. She offers a range of creative tools, including art, drawing, sand tray, dance and movement and working outside in nature with her clients.These child-lead approaches help children to express their feelings in a creative way, without necessarily using words.
Philippa has experience in working with a wide range of difficulties and has a special interest in childhood trauma, attachment, domestic violence, anxiety and depression, self-harm and bereavement.
Philippa has many years’ experience working in a variety of settings including schools, social care working with children and their families, child and adolescent mental health services, fostering and adoption and charity work.
