A little more about Caroline:

As a Dramatherapist Rebecca has worked for over 10 years with adults and children. Her therapeutic work focuses on helping Looked after Children, adopted children and children and young people facing challenges in their relationships at home and in school.

She has experience helping to support clients with a wide variety of mental illnesses and conditions including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, emotionally unstable personality disorder, attachment disorder, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, substance misuse, emotional dysregulation, neuro-developmental conditions (ASD and ADHD), social communication and sensory difficulties.

As a teacher Rebecca is a  former Head of Schools for a national child care organisation and has also had education management roles and teaching experience in a wide variety of settings: CAMHS hospital, SEMH specialist provisions, Special Education, Prison and the Independent sector.

Currently she specialises in providing re-engagement in education programmes for children who are not attending school.

Her ‘Windows on the World’ programme has been successful in building mutual respect and collaboration; helping children and young people to build confidence and self-esteem and become successful learners.

Creativity, play and story making in a safe environment are features of Rebecca’s work.

Rebecca is registered with the HCPC and a full member of the British Association of Dramatherapists.
