Creative Arts Therapy training is a unique course that uses the power of story telling, myth, arts and music to introduce the techniques of arts therapies and to equip professionals to engage with young people who find it difficult to trust due to painful life circumstances.
This programme is specifically designed for therapists, counsellors, pastors, teachers, support workers, teaching assistants, librarians, youth and social workers and mental health nurses.
Andrea creates an immersive experience where participants benefit from interacting with the creative techniques that will be then used to support the young children in their care.
They will experience first hand how these techniques enhance well being and inner strength and foster a sense of calm, renewed confidence and self empowerment.
The course provides a peaceful and supportive atmosphere that focuses on the value of self care and helps to restore the foundation of listening to one’s body and inner wisdom.
All participants will receive a Koru Project CIC certificate of attendance.
Course available as two day weekend programme or 10 weekly sessions of 1 ½ hours
